Pastor Dima tells the story and invites you to partner with this growing church:
Stability and Space
In October 2014, Zhatva – “Harvest” – Church of Krasnoyarsk celebrated the completion of our first year of ministry. Unfortunately, during our first year, we were forced to meet in four different locations due to various situations with rental spaces.
The constant changes could not slow down God’s plan for the church, though. We continue to grow closer to God and stronger in our vision, to be not only a church family, but also a strong light in our community.
Now our desire is to construct a church building on recently purchased land, to serve not just as a church building, but also as a space to hold missionary and leadership training.
What are the needs?
Harvest Church has already purchased the land for the building in an ideal place in the city, easily accessible by public transportation. We have begun the process of clearing the land and making building plans. We are now praying that God would provide $50,000 for the building by the end of winter. Our goal is to have most of the funds in time to buy building supplies and begin the major building project after the cold days of winter are over.
What is being built?
The primary structure will be a 2-story building to accommodate Harvest Church’s service with room for children’s ministry on the 2nd floor will also serve as an area for missionary and leadership training.
Where is Krasnoyarsk?
Krasnoyarsk is a city of one million located in Siberia, Russia. It is positioned on the Trans-Siberian Railroad, giving it easy access to various Siberian cities to the east and west.
