The Ekklesia church plant has experienced a surprising way to have people find out about their church. Typically, people are invited by church members, they hear about the church from someone, or they are actively seeking a church and find them. That was not the case for a family in Slovakia.
One Sunday, when the church was having community group meetings outside of the church, the pastor received a call. Someone had found out about the church through a website for mothers to share experiences and she and her family were waiting outside of the locked church. He invited the family to join them during their meeting and to his surprise, they went right away. Since then, the family has continued to attend the services. The Pastor says: “To this day, I still don’t know how this is possible, but I am happy that [they] go to our church and that God is a sovereign God with a sense of humor.”
