Russia – A Growing Church Becoming a 24/7 Mission Center

My name is Dima, pastor of “Harvest Church” in Krasnoyarsk, Russia.

Krasnoyarsk is a city of one million located in Siberia. It is positioned on the Trans-Siberian Railroad, giving it easy access to various Siberian cities to the east and west.

Our congregation started meeting in October 2014. Due to various situations with rental spaces we were forced to meet in four different locations during that first year.Церковь пикник 2013However, the constant changes could not slow down God’s plan for the church. We continued to grow closer to God and stronger in our vision to be not only a church family, but also a strong light in our community.

We recently purchase a land and our desire is to build what will be not only a church building but a space that would become a 24/7 location for discipleship, small groups, missionary and leadership training and celebration services.

Harvest Church has already purchased the land for the building in an ideal place in the city, easily accessible by public transportation. We have begun the process of clearing the land and making building plans.

The primary structure will be a two-story building to accommodate Harvest Church’s service with room for children’s ministry on the 2nd floor that will also serve as an area for missionary and leadership training.

We are now praying that God would provide $50,000 for the building by the end of winter. Our goal is to have most of the funds in time to buy building supplies and begin the major building project after the cold days of winter are over.

Please help us pray that the Lord would continue blessing us with growth and with the anointing to preach His Word, and with the financial resources to finish the task at hand.
